Growth continues for web site that allows users to share all kinds of digital content in one place with their entire social network

BOCA RATON, FLORIDA, SEPTEMBER 8, 2005 — Multiply (http://multiply.com), a service where users share and discuss digital content such as photos and videos with their social network, announced today that it has surpassed 1,000,000 registered users. Multiply launched in April of 2004.

“We’re thrilled to reach such a milestone,” says Peter Pezaris, Multiply’s president. “A lot of people have discovered that Multiply is the most convenient way to share and discuss photos, videos, blogs and other types of content with everyone they know. PC Magazine reviewed Multiply in January of 2005 and said, “Multiply affords you a type of social interaction that you can’t get with typical blogging or photo-sharing services.”

The company recently introduced video and music sharing, along with pay accounts for users that want higher monthly upload limits and more site-customization tools. Multiply’s basic service is free of charge.
